Arbour Academy is part of Kings Academy Trust and provides a small nurturing school environment for vulnerable young people who are unable to access a mainstream school placement due to social emotional and mental health needs.
Arbour Academy provides access to a broad and balanced curriculum in a small school based setting for 50 learners. Arbour offer a trauma enforced approach, therapeutic interventions, pastoral care and access to our trust counsellor, all of which form part of our provision. This holistic offer enables our learners to access and re-engage with their education.
Alongside this offer learners benefit from a high quality personal development curriculum and pastoral care to support their needs, build confidence and life skills to prepare them for life outside of the classroom.
To access Arbour Academy a referral needs to be completed by your current school, the referral will then be discussed at a panel meeting with Salford local authority.

Through bespoke provision, we help them develop essential skills, build confidence, and take meaningful steps toward positive future outcomes.
