We are delighted to announce that Gracie (Year 10) and Amy (Year 11) have been crowned winners of a recent writing competition!!
Both students entered their writing for the Sadie Massey Writing Competition at the Portico Library and they have both won a prize!
Amy won for her original story The Memory Fox.
Gracie won an award for a book review of Of Mice and Men.
This really is a great achievement and a cause for celebration for all our pupils. Amy and Gracie are invited to the awards ceremony (along with 5 other pupils from schools all over the northwest ) in June at the Portico Library to receive their prizes and certificates.
We also entered several students from KS3 who will receive a certificate and small prize for taking part.
