Enrichment

At Arbour Academy, we believe that enrichment opportunities play a crucial role in supporting our students’ personal development, mental health, and overall well-being. Research highlights the positive impact of enrichment activities on young people, particularly in fostering resilience, communication, collaboration, and social skills. With this in mind, our enrichment program is designed to be inclusive and accessible, ensuring that all pupils—regardless of transport arrangements—can participate in a diverse range of activities.

To provide meaningful and engaging experiences, we offer a variety of clubs and enrichment opportunities throughout the school day, including break and lunchtime sessions, as well as dedicated enrichment afternoons aligned with our PSHE and SMSC themes. These activities encourage positive relationships between students and staff, promoting a supportive and nurturing school environment.
Our daily enrichment activities include:

Indoor Activities – Board and card games, bracelet making, mindfulness and colouring activities, and access to our well-stocked library.
Outdoor Activities – Boxercise, darts, table tennis, football, and badminton.

Each activity is carefully planned to encourage personal growth, teamwork, and emotional well-being, ensuring our students leave Arbour Academy with the confidence and skills to thrive beyond the classroom.
