At Arbour Academy, we believe that student voice matters. Our Student Council provides a platform for students to share their ideas, discuss important school matters, and play an active role in shaping their school experience.
Meeting once every half term, the Student Council discusses current school affairs, key decisions that impact students, and—most importantly—rewards and trips. Representatives from each class across Key Stages 3 and 4 ensure that every student has a voice and that their opinions are heard.
Our Student Council is built on the foundation of our H.E.R.E. values:
🔹 High Expectations – Striving for positive change and setting ambitious goals.
🔹 Empathy – Listening to and respecting the views of all students.
🔹 Resilience – Working together to overcome challenges and make a difference.
🔹 Emotional Response – Expressing ideas confidently and making thoughtful contributions.
By taking part in the Student Council, our students develop leadership skills, build confidence, and help shape a school community where everyone thrives. At Arbour Academy, we do things differently HERE—because every voice matters!
